In this study we demonstrate that the dissolution of the “sun, moon, and stars” in Revelation 6:9f refers to the same thing it did in Mathew 24 as well as in the prophets; that is, the judgment and removal of the Old Covenant world of Judaism in AD70. This is a powerful teaching concerning the symbolic language of the Bible, and has significant implications for how we understand the book of Revelation.
