The coming of the Son of Man to judge “every man according to his deeds” in Mathew 16:27-28, was the second coming of Christ to take vengeance upon Israel for shedding innocent blood in fulfillment of Isaiah 59. This agrees perfectly with the words of Jesus in both Mathew 23 and Luke 21. The judgment of Jerusalem in AD70 signified the second coming of Christ to bring vengeance upon the Jews for shedding the blood off the saints, in fulfillment of Isaiah 59. Those were the days of vengeance, when every man was judged according to his deeds.
