We prove once again that the premillennial dispensational doctrine of the “rapture of the church” is not supported by scripture, especially 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16. But more than that, we convincingly demonstrate that the coming of the Son of Man in Mathew 16:2-28 prophesied the second coming of Christ at the time of the resurrection of both 1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15, which both Jesus and Paul placed within the lifetime of their own contemporary generation.
