A brief comparative study of the “time, times, and a half a time” in both Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, completely falsifies all futurist interpretations of Mathew 16:27-28. According to Daniel, the coming of the Son of Man takes place after the persecution of the saints for a time, times, and a half a time. But according to John, the persecution of the saints for a time, times and a half a time had not yet taken place when he wrote Revelation. Therefore, the coming of the Son of Man in Mathew 16:27-28 ( in fulfillment of Daniel 7) could not possibly have taken place prior to the time John wrote Revelation.
