In this introductory video to the concept of heaven and earth passing away, we begin by looking at the context surrounding that promise in Luke 21 (the parallel text to Mathew 24). Jesus’ words force us to identify “heaven and earth” as something that would pass away in the first century, and the event itself as something that his disciples could potentially “escape”. Hopefully this study will help us all to better appreciate what it means to exist in the new heaven and earth, the new creation. Lot’s more to come, stay tuned….
