Isaiah prophesied the coming of the Lord in flaming fire to destroy heaven and earth. But, Isaiah identified that destruction of heaven and earth as the judgement of the Old Covenant world – both Jerusalem and its people – in Israel’s last days. Therefore, the judgment of the Old Covenant world of Judaism in AD70 – in Israel’s last days – was the destruction of heaven and earth by flaming fire at the coming of the Lord. Heaven and earth passed away in Jesus’ generation, just as he prophesied in Mathew 24:34-35. Let the word of God be true, and all who contradict are liars.
