Jesus identified the “day and hour” as the “appointed time” (kairos) for the judgment and destruction of the Old Covenant world of Judaism. When the disciples saw the signs, they were to proclaim by the Spirit that the day, the hour, and the appointed time for “the judgment” had arrived. That is exactly what they did.
