Mathew 24 Part 119 – Who were Those Faithful and Sensible Slaves?

In Mathew 24:43f, Jesus places the responsibility of the preservation and nourishment of his household (his Church) firmly in the hands of his first century generation. Jesus said that the slaves (stewards) who he found feeding his household at his coming, would receive “charge of all his possessions”. But, those “stewards” (slaves) were those whom he would appoint as “head of his household”, that is, hisĀ apostles and witnesses to “the people”. This video powerfully demonstrates that the coming of the Lord would was to be in the generation of his self-appointed apostles, the only generation who was qualified to be his “witnesses to the people”.
