Jesus warned his generation that if they would turn away from the truth of the gospel and their responsibility to preach it, they would prove to be wicked slaves who would be appointed a portion – an inheritance – with the Jewish hypocrites (pretenders), those who said they were Jews are were not. Those hypocrites were appointed their portion when they along with their mother (the old covenant) were cast out in AD70.
