This video reveals a powerful yet ofter overlooked truth. The identity of the witnesses of Jesus limit the fulfillment of the great commission to the first century, and to the lifetime of Jesus contemporary generation. According to Peter and Paul (Acts 1,10,13), the witnesses of Jesus who preached the gospel to “the people”, were those who had been with Jesus from the beginning – from baptism to ascension – Paul being the notable exception. Unless you were at the Jordan when Jesus was baptized, you are not a “witness” of Jesus, and play absolutely no role in the fulfillment of the great commission. That mission was fulfilled, the end has come, and the Kingdom has arrived.
