In this introductory video we establish the foundational truth that the abomination of desolation that Jesus spoke of in Mathew 24, was a first century event that was witnessed by the first century generation (Mathew 24:15,34). No amount of “exegetical gymnastics” can dismiss the fact that Jesus told his first century disciples that the abomination of desolation was something that they themselves would witness…. “when you see the abomination of desolation…”. In the next few videos we will explore the abomination of desolation in Daniel 9, 11, and 12, and demonstrate how each of these texts parallel Mathew 24, and were likewise fulfilled in the first century through the fall of Jerusalem in AD70.
