If we allow Zechariah 12:10 to comment on Mathew 24:30, and allow the apostle John to comment on Zechariah 12:10, we can understand who would mourn, why they would mourn, and when that morning would take place. Jesus’ words “all tribes of the land shall mourn” must be interpreted through this matrix of prophetic text.
