In this video we recap our studies up to this point on Matthew 16:27-28, where we have definitively and systematically demonstrated the following argument: The coming of the Lord in Daniel 7, Isaiah 40, Isaiah 59, and Isaiah 62 served as primary Old Testament sources for the coming of the Son of Man in Matthew 16:27-28. But, the coming of the Lord in each of those Old Testament passaged prophesied the eschatological return of Yahweh, that is, the second coming of Christ. Therefore we conclude, the coming of the Son of Man in Matthew 16:27-28 in fulfillment of those Old Testament passages prophesied the second coming of Christ as the eschatological return of Yahweh, which Jesus himself placed within the lifetime of his first disciples. “There are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom”. The PDF comparative chart below powerfully illustrates this conclusion. Be sure to share this good news, and stay tuned for much more to come….
