One Image

This chart demonstrates powerfully that the “image of the Lord” that the Body of Christ was being transformed into through the first century covenantal transition (2 Corinthians 3) was in fact the same “image of the Son” / “image of the heavenly” that the body of Christ would receive at the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15), the redemption of the body (Romans 8). What this means is that unless man is changed into two different images of the Lord at two different times, the first century covenantal transition (the transitional period from old to new covenant – 30-70AD) was the process by which man was being resurrected and changed into the image of God.
