Through their rejection of the gospel of the kingdom of God, the apostate Jews of the first century had become the “sons of the enemy” (Mathew 13) and the kingdom of Judaism had become the throne and kingdom of Satan. The description of Babylon in Revelation 18 represents the fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy in Mathew 12:28-29,43-45 upon “that evil generation”. In part 4 of this study we will provide a powerful comparative chart demonstrating that the judgment and destruction of Satan of Revelation 20 (and Romans 16:20) was the judgment and destruction of Babylon (O.C. Jerusalem) of Revelation 16 for “pouring out the blood of saints and prophets”.
