The modern mass confusion surrounding the “last days” is the direct result of improper teaching concerning the “end of the age (world)”. Jesus and the New Testament writers placed both the last days and the end of the age not at the “end of time” or the end of the “church/new covenant age”, but at the end of Israel’s Old Covenant age of Judaism which culminated in the judgment and destruction of Jerusalem in AD70.
