When Jesus prophesied of the “days of vengeance” that would come upon the Jews in the siege of Jerusalem in AD70, he was prophesying the fulfilment of Isaiah 35, when the Lord would come upon Israel in vengeance and in salvation in fulfillment of all that had been written.
