In todays lesson we explore the connection between the parable of the Harvest in Mathew 13, the resurrection, and Israel’s Old Covenant feast days, specifically, the “feast of harvest”. As we demonstrate, the first century Christians were the first fruits of the full resurrection-harvest to be reaped at the coming of the Lord and the end of the Jewish age in AD70. As it is written, “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at his coming.
