For those had ears to hear, Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed (Mathew 13 and Mark 4) was proof that God was redeeming the remnant and establishing the kingdom of David. Jesus was the mustard seed – the “tender young twig” – who was planted for the restoration of Israel. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
