In this video we demonstrate the connection between Hebrews 8, Mathew 5, and Luke 21. To say that the Old Covenant was “soon” to vanish away (Hebrews 8:13) was the same as saying that the Law and Prophets (the Old Covenant) were about the be fulfilled and pass away (Mathew 5:18). This proves to be a valid connection as Jesus places both the fulfillment of all things written (the Law and Prophets), and the vanishing away of the Old Covenant (the abolishment of Judaism), no later than the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70 (Luke 21:20-23,32).
