In this video we begin to demonstrate the powerful hermeneutic that “time dictates nature”. In other words, “when” an event happened determines “how” the event happened. In Acts 1:9 Jesus ascends in a “cloud”, and in Mathew 24:30 Jesus descends (comes) in a cloud. Just as he left, so would he return…. in the first century generation (Mathew 24:34). Jesus’ “cloud coming” (second coming) in Mathew 24 was his “coming in like manner” of Acts 1:11. But, the cloud coming of Mathew 24 was fulfilled in the first century generation. Therefore, the prophesied second coming of Jesus in Acts 1 was fulfilled in the first century generation. So, since the second coming as prophesied in Acts 1 and Mathew 24 was fulfilled in the first century generation, this means that the second coming of Acts 1:9-11 was not physical, but spiritual. Time dictates nature.
